This dissertation investigates the topic “Organisational Culture and Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP) implementation. Many university environments in Australia and globally are adopting ERP systems but little research currently exists in this area. The cultural change associated with ERP systems implementation is addressed, looking as specific aspects such as gender, IS quality and knowledge management. Culture, IS quality and knowledge management are enablers of ERP systems and gender is an issue that is associated with implementation. Change, in regards to user resistance needs to be minimised to increase user acceptance and therefore the success of the implementation.
